RJC specialise in the provision of HIAB and Low Loader Vehicles, this page is dedicated to the myriad of low Loader vehicles we have on offer for all types of heavy haulage. Currently we are able to offer 2, 3 and 4 axle Low Loaders up to 150 tonnes.
In addition to Standard Low Loaders, we offer a variety of heavy lifting vehicles, including a range of Step Frame Semi Low Loaders (general, abnormal, extendable and super low), all of which are available with ramps or extendable beds and ramp widths.
All of our flat trailers are either a 2 or 3 axle standard from 40 to 45 feet in length and for a larger load we can also offer a massive 118 foot flat trailer, all of which are equipped with full steer.
The fleet of heavy lifting HIAB's are manned by operatives whom have been formally trained in Manual Handling and Fire awareness, and hold CPCS in both Lorry Loader Crane and Slinger Signaller (plus Entry Permits for the Underground and Trackside Safety Competence should you require deliveries to the Network Rail Infrastructure), and the entire fleet is equipped with sleeper cabs for long haul works.
Because we directly undertake all works, our capability ranges from a simple contract including heavy haulage to the specific client specifications, through to production and management of the complete project fleet plan, using project specific Method Statements and management techniques.
Our fleet of heavy lifting lorries and Low Loaders essentially allow the legal carriage of loads up to 12 ft (3.66m) tall that other trailers could not legally carry. This is made possible by the loading deck being significantly lower than those of a normal trailer.
If you need it, we can appoint a competent person, who can plan the logistical side of the works over the phone with you, along with additional advice if you need it, from producing site and task specific Risk Assessments, through to a Method Statement and/or Lift Plan (if required) for removing the load from the trailer.
The process used by RJC means that you are key to the successful completion of the work, there won't be any step of the process undertaken without your consent, and we aim to provide 100% satisfaction.
